Toshiba DLP T.V. problem, please help	Can't Post

I have recently acquired a Toshiba DLP projection TV for free because it would not turn on. The lights light up on the front of the touch buttons however no picture or light is emited from the screen at all.

Model No. 52HM95
I'm just interested in finding out what is possibly wrong with it not coming on at all. I can provide pictures or videos if needed. Any idea's on what the problem may be and how much it would cost to repair? Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Greetings kentucky360360.
First of all, have you cheeked inside to see if the lamp turns on? Also do you hear any strange clicking noises coming from the inside of the tv? My first instinct is that you need a new lamp (very common issue among DLP tv’s) how ever there are a number of thing that could be causing the tv to not turn on.
