Toshiba Projection TV.Something blew in the back Can't Post

I have a TP48D51 Rear Projection TV.The colors were getting unaligned and the normal adjustment knobs werent helping me.I i took the front speaker grill off and there was a circuit board with about 40 adjustment knobs for the 3 colors and 3 for something else.Well after adjusting the picture to get it perfect,i messed with the 3 other knobs, when i turned it,the pciture got all wavy, and soemthing blew from the back of the tv.Now the knobs do not respond to anything and nothing is working.

well, first off, i don't recommend adjusting the "knobs" (pots) you were talking about on the front panel who is not a pro w/ the right equip. is the tv completely dead or is just the convergence that is out. do you have audio/video? if the convergence went completely out then you have a couple of convergence amps which need to be replaced. they usually run between 35 to 60 bucks a piece. if the tv is completely dead, you may have shorted out something inadvertently while in the tv, which means that now you have two problems. either way if you adjusted those pots you need someone to readjust them for you.
