Toshiba logo then black

TV powers up with red toshiba logo, then goes black. I still have sound. When I shine a flashlight at the screen I can see the image. I managed to thumble through the menus to do a factory reset. This did not fix the issue. Im quite the DIYer. can someone point me in the right direction?
