Turning on built in set top box - Phillips 42PF9945 Can't Post
I'm hoping someone will be able to help figure out how to turn the built in set top box on, in our Phillips Plasma TV model no 42PF9945.
I was told when we purchased the tv nearly 4 years ago that there is a built in STB, built in the manual it doesn't mention how to use it. Any help that anybody can give would be very much appreciated. Thanks Nip and Jas

Im not 100% certain but Im pretty certain you were told its High definition ready. IE its not got it but you can get it. Well that may have been so, its unlikely that is true now. Philips dont make Plasma, they rebadge them. The thing will be an LG with additions.

rrobor is correct.this tv was hd ready but needs external box to receive digital signals. Anyways a philips that has lasted 4 years??? unheard of

most are made by Pace and not much to choose between them. dont waste lots of money on one as it wont last any longer than a cheap one(may have a few more features though)
