Unable to change on screen menu settings	Can't Post

I have an old Mitsubishi CS-2610R TV without a remote. With the universal remote I can access the onscreen menu but am unable to change any of the settings. We recently cancelled our cable and Im trying to change the TV from cable (CATV) mode to antenna. Any suggestions short of trying to find and buy a remote for this model. Thanks!

Sometimes, universal remotes will work on more than one code for the same set but will not access all functions on all codes. Try different codes or sometimes the particular remote will just not work with that set. I just had a similar problem with an RCA remote on a Sharp TV. I tried a different later model remote and solved the problem immediately.
