After doing some exploring with the scope. I found that "C-main" and "Y-main" were both being lost at the PIP module. Looking at the schematic with the knowledge that the PIP could be bypassed, from you guys, I connected "C-main and Y-main to "C-out" and "Y-out" with 150 Ohm resistors. This got the picture back but it rolls in some picture contexts constantly. It is obvious with the scope that the vertical Sync. signal changes amplitude with the picture scene. Did I miss something? Does this signal need to be amplified ? As I said before nearly every cap outside the shield was leaking. After replacing those stinky caps and repairing three etches the PIP board still does not work. Is there any advantage in replacing the caps inside the shield or is it probably something else? If all else fails what does an exchange module cost and who would sell it to me?
