Vertical out on zenith Can't Post

I have a SL2567S with a horizontal line on the screen. I have located the vertical IC and associated components, but don't know where to go from here. If anyone is familiar with these Zeniths, I would really appreciate the help.

Although I do not have the schematic for that specific model, it apears to be a 94/95 vintage and most of these models were very similar. I have found that many times this is caused by the failure of the fusible resistor in the power supply to the vertical IC. It is probably a 1 ohm resistor identified as RX2342 off of pin 10 of flyback. This usually seems to be just a random failure and replacing it has fixed the problem. Otherwise, you probably need to replace the IC itself. You might also want to check out www.FreeFlatScreens.com/?r=10948674 for an opportunity to earn a free replacement for this set with a little effort on your part.

Thank you Mel, it is a 94. I'll look for that fused resistor and let you know if that did the trick!
