Vizio LCD turns off after 2 seconds

A month old Vizio 37" LCD (model E370VL) turns off two seconds after I turn it on (doesn't matter if I turn it by the remote or the side switch on the tv). After turning it on, the big Vizio logo appers on the LCD screen but them it shuts off ( so I assume no problem with the LCD controller of LCD itself). Vizio would not honor the warranty since I am in a rellocation overseas. Debating whether its the power supply board or the main board. Any help would be appreciated.
