Vizio M470 SL Powers up but screen is black

My Vizio M470SL has a black screen but the power indicator lights up white. I changed the power supply board but it didn't fix the problem. The only way to power it down is to unplug it. The remote nor the power button will power it down. Could th econtrol board be the problem?
