Zenith 27" suddenly popping Can't Post

My Zenith SJ2765S5 started intermittent popping today. I will hear a pop every second or two and the screen will have some prominent horizontal lines/distortion simultanously. It only does this on channels numbered higher than 5. The same cable hooked up to another TV works fine. What should I do?

Zenith TVs are noted for their bad picture tubes. Among other things, they have a tendency to develope internal shorts which would account for the popping and distortion. A bad picture tube in a Zenith is a fatal flaw. You might want to check out www.FreeFlatScreens.com/default.aspx?referer=7509165 for an opportunity to earn a free replacement for this set with a little effort on your part.
