this unit intermittant start up seems like when cold soon as high voltage starts up shuts down like a protect circut is causing when plays it will do it fro days thankyou for help palco

There is a protection circuit that shuts the TV down when
the high voltage reaches a certain value.
This is to protect against X-ray radiation.
The problem could be in the circuit itself, or the HV might be too high.
