Insignia NS-LCD26A turns off by itself. Can't Post

I have an Insignia NS-LCD26A, and it turns off by itself after having white lines run across the screen. I opened it up since it is long out of warranty, and I could see no bad capacitors on the power supply or main board. I've fixed my other TV and that was the problem, I can't figure out this one.

Try C531 - 47ufd @ 50 volt

Checked that capacitor, it didn't look bad. It's not leaking or bulging.

That "Twenty" is ripped and dirty, better throw it away.Angelic

Visually:
Tell me the capacitor's value (not the numbers on the shrink tubing on outside of capacitor);
Tell me the ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) reading;

I'll bet that set has (at least) a dozen out of tolerance or just plain bad parts that you CANNOT ''visually" tell are bad. That's why test equipment is sold.

So, I should replace that one cap?

Less than $1.00. What could it hurt? Wait, I forget who all I'm talking to.
