Sharp Aquos LC-42D62U Display Output Problem

Hello, my Sharp Aquos LC-42D62U display output is not working right. I have multiple horizontal and vertical lines running throughout the display, similar to the infamous scene in the movie The Matrix. The lines are symmetrical, like graph paper, varying in colours. The links are below: http://www.flickr.com/photos/57065039@N07/5262818296/ http://www.flickr.com/...5039@N07/5262817796/ I have had it diagnosed at the repair shop but I want more opinions. His diagnosis was that the main board needed to be replaced. So I installed my new main board. Turned on the TV, and it fixed the display problem, well sort of. As soon as the TV turns on, the screen goes to white with no lines that were previously there. However, the TV turned off, and now will not turn back on. The green LED light in the front is flashing once every second constantly. I put my original main board back in and guess what, same original problem, which is good. This may suggest that either the new main board is bunk or my psu may be at fault. I then decided to install a new psu. No change. Then I decided to run some tests with what I had so far. I will call my original components 1 and the new ones 2. So I tested the set in the following arrangement with the following results. psu 1 with main 1: org. problem as described psu 2 with main 1: org. problem as described psu 1 with main 2: new problem as described psu 2 with main 2: new problem as described Lastly, it was pointed out that my new main board may require a jumper that was not sold with mine. However, I have also been told that this jumper actually may not be required. But I do not know for sure. And furthermore, the two main boards I have are indeed the exact same model number, but have different arrangements. I was told that Sharp’s main boards are interchangeable between certain models. The pics of my two main boards to show comparison are below: http://www.flickr.com/photos/57065039@N07/5286906163/ And this pic is of the same model number with a jumper: http://www.flickr.com/photos/57065039@N07/5287529652/ So before I go and order any new parts (I will try my best to recoup any costs) I was wondering if anyone would have any knowledge on this subject. Any advise would be appreciated.
