Sony 53" Projection KP53XBR45 not powering on

I have a 53'' sony rear projection tv that is not powering on. It will make the power on sound but then clicks and shuts off right away before anything shows up on the screen. I have checked the fuse and that is still good. My local tv repair place is charging 100$ to even look at it. If anyone can tell if I have to replace a transistoror what. I would greatly appreciate a reply.
