Hello there everybody...wanted to say a snowy wassup??? from the Great White North...got a samsung 25" set in my shop, at first it had no raster or sound. I solved that and thought I cured the set, only to discover when I disconnect AC power and plug the unit back in, the parameters the eeprom is supposed to remember, it doesn't. I have to manually reset the vertical height and the VCO settings,as well as other settings each time the set is unplugged. I've got the service manual for this critter so either I'm not seeing what's right in front of me, or I just might have a defective eeprom. I'd really appreciate any thoughts anyone might have...thanks a lot everyone...great to be back in the game again.
