emerson VT1322 no picture good sound

I have a emerson VT1322 combo television vcr with no picture (no luminance Black screen) and good sound on vcr and tuner. There is a flash on screen when shutting the set off. I'm assuming that the problem is with part of the video amp section but I thought I'd ask since I've received a lot of good help on this site. THanks in Advance!
