Hi
I have an hitachi 42PD6600 when I switch on the power botton the tv switches on, I hear the click etc and the green light comes on, I can hear a low hissing noise (white noise) through the speaker but I have no picture. If I look closly when switching it on the screen does change colour but only just, its still blank.
I'm an electronics engineer and I have access to meters and other lab equipment, is this worth fixing? I hate throwing things like this out!
