philips/magnavox no power	Can't Post

To anyone who can help. I have a Philips/Magnavox mx5472 chassis c101. It has no power, no led. removed cover and found an oily substance on boards and focus controls below center(green) crt. Fuse near power cord is not blown. Any ideas? Am I screwed? Thanks for any help .

Your tube has leaked coolant on the board which caused thwe board tom short. This is a large repair, not one for a rank amateur.

Thanks for responding rrober. Does that mean it wouldn't be worth tracking down failed part(s)? I do have some electrical knowledge but not much in tv's.
