Hi,
Can anyone help with my lcd television the screen went funny last summer on hot days with red verticle lines and picture distortion this seemed to cure it's self within a couple of days, till this weekend again when we had a mini heatwave the exact same happened, lines and colour disstortion then the screen has just gone blank (dark) though you can still tell when it's on or off I contacted comet who we purchased it from their engineer/salesman said it was the screen that has gone and they dont make replacement screens anymore then tried to sell us a new one. I heard it could be a timer control card problem, anybody got any ideas Model Philips 42PFL5522D/05,
