Can anyone tell me where I can get a painter ic and how difficult is it to change

Try www.wehaveparts.com. Unless you are an accomplished solderer, changing any IC is not easy due the the closeness of the pins to each other. You might also want to check out www.FreeFlatScreens.com/?r=10948674 for an opportunity to earn a free replacement for this set with a little effort on your part.

Is not so difficult to change Painter IC if you have experience with SMD component and hot air equipment .You have to watch out for surrounding component.
