samsung UE22ES5410W turns off by itself

Hi All
A samsung TV UE22ES5410W runs for around a minute or so then trips off.front red led flashes and sometimes attempts restart while flashing 1onec per second. then gives up and red led goes out
nothing obvious when I opened it up. It has a WIFi module WIDT20R that was pretty warm so removed it ( dont need wifi) thinking that load on the supply might reduce. it ran Ok for a couple of hours but then problem returned. Noticed that the hand controller can be well away form TV and still control-is it too sensitive.
Any ideas please was hoping set the set up to take analogue video in so can the be hard wired?
