samsung un50eh5000f Dark Blue Screen Help	Can't Post

Hello, Im in need of some help going further with this Tv. samsung un50eh5000f . First im new to Tv Repairs but know my way around other electronics.

When this Tv was brought to me the owner stated they were watching the set when the screen shrank to just a center blue bar then went out. I plugged it in hooked up a DvD player and get sound and a very faint dark blue screen. I removed the back and unplugged the right ribbon from the T-con board and get 1/2 the picture. If the Right side is plugged in alone or together i get the faint dark blue screen. I replaced the T-con board and get the same results. I dont want to continue playing circuit board lotto so any help would be great.

If the ribbons are the ones from the tcon board to the panel & since it exhibits the same behavior regardless of which tcon board is installed, I'd have to say defective panel. Unimpressed
