Back again looking for some support.The victim is a 1999 sony kv-xbr100(set is called xbr2).I had a flickering power led on controller and set would not turn on or would turn on on its own timeframe.Opened controller and no 9v from regulator.Replaced regulator but now i have nothing feeding input to regulator(some multi leg transformer with about 5 outputs).Rechecked regulator install,that seems ok.what is the protect circuit on this board for?
