Hi all:

I have a brand new Zenith 36" C36A26 tv. It works great except for one detail. When I hook up my Playstation One to it, it has a vertical bounce problem. On my old Zenith, you could go into a service menu and turn something called Vforced on which fixed the problem perfectly.

I know how to get to the service menu on the new Zenith (Menu 9 8 7 6 ). But I'm not seeing anything that would correspond to the vforce, vertical synch or hold in there. But there are a ton of things in there and they are named in abbreviated fashion so I may not would recognize it.

Does anyone have any technical info on this TV where they could check this for me?

I'd be very much appreciative...I miss my PSX games!

Thanks...I'd already seen that actually. My new zenith has a service menu but doesn't have the above mentioned VFORCED item in the service menu. I was told by Sony that they no longer do the PS One modification for free.

So, I'm stuck with hoping there's an option in the service menu that I just don't recognize. They all have short names and I'm unsure what most are for.

I'll write and ask him....#82 looks like exactly what I need. Unfortunately, my service menu only goes up to 59 and VSYNC_SW doesn't seem to be in the available 59.
