I am sure many of you are faced with the decision if recapping your VCR is worth it. I know I was. The restoration was expensive but also included lubrication and cleaning. I did it years ago but the VCR still provides the absolute best picture I have seen. I use it mostly for VHS-C capture and between that and my high quality capture card I can get pretty good photo quality screen caps. I am REALLY pleased with the re-capping.
