Panasonic NV-HD70	Can't Post

Hey guys, I have a problem with a Panasonic NV-HD70 VCR. Intermittantly not loading up and ejecting.
Unit powers down and have to wind the tape back out.
Any ideas/common problems from your wealth of knowledge.

Probaby a mode switch if it has one

I agree.find the rotary mode switch under the mech.and clean the contacts

Many thanks guys. I wasn't sure if this model had mode switch problems or not. I was going to replace anyway at some stage if I didn't get anywhere. I thought it must have been cracked bush on loading motor or something mechanical. It is so damn intermittant it is hard to crack. I thought I had it a few times now.
