VCR Tape Stuck!

VCR Tape Stuck!	Can't Post

Using a Sumsung VR5853. Inserted a tape as normal. The unit turned itself off. The unit is now dead with the tape inside. My wife wants this tape back. Any help is appreciated.

unplug the unit.look inside and find the small motor that powers the loading mechanism and wind it by hand till the tape ejects.you could try a 9v battery across the motor terminals to speed it up.
