The power comes only in a standby mode

Just completed my Diploma in Electronics and want to do a lot of practicals. My samsung SV5000W VCR power only in stanby mode. I do not have a full power. I removed the mechanical part and see if I can have a full power but it still the same. I have try all the troubleshooting technics I know but can't get the power back in full mode. Can I get any assistance please?.

Again, not the power switch. Most likely some bad capacitors in the secondary of the SMPS. Use a ESR meter on the electrolytic caps and find the ones at fault.
