Sears VCR Remote Programing Problem

Hi, i am trying to program my older sears VCR remote. The model number on the remote is 30717/30437. I would like it to operate my shard TV that i use. If anyone knows the procedure for programing this remote so it will operate my tv i could use the help. I do not have the orginial manual. Thanks alot.
