Sony SLV770HF	Can't Post

Everything works, FF, FR, but unit does not play. It will not move tape to play, just sits there. Ideas?? Thanks

Most likly your belt or Stanshion motor needs cleaning. ( the black pully the belts hooks on).

When RR or FF is it going slower then normal?. if so then clean the motor.

Thanks for the suggestion. Acutually is was pulley that was frozen on the shaft....soaked it a while and now it works like new.
