VCR's unwanted switch-off every five minutes.	Can't Post

My Satelite signal comes to my TV through my VCR (using Scart leads). My VCR is set to AV 1.

However my VCR switches off automatically every 5 minutes and I lose the satelite signal.

Why is this cutting out happening?

My VCR is a Mitsubishi HS-820V

because the auto shut off is operating due to no signal condition via aerial socket. check in menu to see if you can switch this feature off
