I noticed the problem a while back and opened up the box and cleaned the inside and also lubricated where possible. it will work for a couple of runs and then goes back to winding the tape onto a spindle inside. I see that there are repair/refurbish kits available for this model. Is this something that can be fixed by these kits?

the problem is when you cleaned ((im assuming wet solutions to those rubber spindles )) is what causes sticking tapes. if there are repair kits for this model. Replace those rubbers.
