Celebrity Reality Show meets COPS Can't Post

Its awesome they took the concept of COPS and put celebrities into the show and came up with Armed and Famous on CBS. I wonder if they are really going to put them through the aggressive training and real life scenarios or will this just be fake made up wannabe COPS. It would really suck if they faked scenarios. I’m interested to see how this plays out and what kind of real life situations where these celebs have to arrest hardcore gang bangers. Are they going to be given wimpy assignments and fake all the drama, or is this going to be hardcore drug bust type stuff? Anyone else who is a big fan of COPS? What do you think of this new show?

What do you think about [url=http://video.yahoo.com/video/play?vid=31c9ec79e726ac2ef858b493cf9d87d7.1577591&fr=yvmtf]giving celebrities guns and the authority to become cops for a small town and filming it? It doesn't really seem fair, or sets a good example when celebrities, such as Jack Osborne, who have a history of drug use are given guns. They are trained and given the ability to apply deadly force by a television network in the name of ratings.

I don't think it should be taken that seriously, since they are just being trained to the point of ride alongs in Muncie, IN. Doesn't seem like they'd have too much violent crime there. The previews look like their all having fun and learning cool cop stuff.

After a night of TV, my friend said they should take Armed and Famous to Iraq to help Bush out in finding 20,000 troops. Jack is actually a good shot, and Trish Stratus can take a taser to the back we now know.

Celebrity Army: Armed and Famous.

I watched the first episode and the episode last night.. It not bad at all... Actually it is fun watching the reactions of those people who got arrested especially the lady that Wee-man arrested for shop lifting. The lady didnt actually believed that wee-man is a police officer. Crazy

Hatorian, I agree with you!
I think that Jason "Wee Man" may have it harder than most of other cast members to be taken seriously. When he was called to deal with a possible shofplifter in a dept store and she called him a fake cop and ran away from him. For doing that, he arrested her for disorderly conduct. No word as to whether she was shoplifting or not. He said over and over, "Ma'am- I am real police officer, please stop when I ask you to stop." She thought she was getting punked on TV. I would probably think the same as well.
