With an adrenaline-fueled new series, IFC is turning the tables on four New York University Film School students -- and capturing their own personal dramas on camera. We thought your audience would appreciate hearing about it. In “Film School” a 10-part series that debuts September 10 on IFC, the four students steal scenes, face fierce competition, and desperately race deadlines on the streets of New York as they try and finish their first big “calling card” films. NYU Film Alums Spike Lee, Martin Scorcese, Oliver Stone, and Amy Heckerling also make appearances in the show, which is directed by Oscar nominated director Nanette Burstein ("On the Ropes", "The Kid Stays in the Picture"). A press release follows; please let us know if you have any questions. You can also visit IFC’s “Film School” directly at <http://www.ifctv.com/ifc/what?CAT0=45&CAT1=8307&TZ=ET&TB=4&CLR=blue&AID=8310>. Film fans, aspiring directors, closet critics, and anyone who loves movies won’t want to miss it! 4 FILM STUDENTS 10 WEEKS 1 GOAL TO DIRECT AN AWARD WINNING STUDENT FILM AND LAUNCH THEIR CAREERS WHO WILL BE THE NEXT SCORSESE AND WHO WILL BE FETCHING HIS COFFEE?
