Hi,
I'm currently researching into the question "have the boundaries for childrens cartoons changed in terms of content and representation throughout the last 20-30 years ?".
The main areas of focus involves - increase in violence?
- issues expressed in cartoons?
- change in language?
Cartoons being researched - tom and jerry, itchy and scratchy, the simpsons, southpark, anime series, teenage mutant ninja turtles, rugrats.
I would be very grateful if you could provide your insight into this topic and why you agree/disagree with the question.
