Have the boundaries for childrens cartoons changed in terms of content and representation throughout the last 20-30 years ? Can't Post

Hi,

I'm currently researching into the question "have the boundaries for childrens cartoons changed in terms of content and representation throughout the last 20-30 years ?".

The main areas of focus involves
  • increase in violence?
  • issues expressed in cartoons?
  • change in language?

Cartoons being researched
  • tom and jerry, itchy and scratchy, the simpsons, southpark, anime series, teenage mutant ninja turtles, rugrats.

I would be very grateful if you could provide your insight into this topic and why you agree/disagree with the question. Smile
