As if it wasn't bad enough that American Idol has taken over the country, the radio, and American Pop Culture, but now the creators of American Idol are launching a second show which airs tonight 7-20-2005.
The show is called So You Think You Can Dance. Basically the premise of the show that 50 dancers will be chosen and over 12 weeks they will be eliminated down to a set of 4 final remaining dancers,
The dancers will be elminated by a panel of 5 dance professionals and the dancers will be expected to dance in many many different styles of dance.
Once the final 4 are chosen, America gets to phone in and vote for their favorite dancer. The guy who wins gets $100,000 and an apartment in Manhattan.
Sounds like a bunch of garbage to me, but Im sure mainstream America will love it.
