Mits WS65819 65" with blown red CRT..HELP	Can't Post

This TV is four years old and has a bad red CRT. I have been told MITS no longer makes this tube and it can not be ordered. Only option being to rebuild the tube for $550.00 and reinstall and adjust for another $400.00. After taxes and pickup we are looking at $1100.00 to fix. This seems nuts on a 4 year old set. Does this make sense or am I getting the run around. I can't believe the tube is not available after only 4 years.

Mitsubishi is proprietary parts, (this is why I refuse to work on them),

call them yourself and verify the tube is not available, 800-553-7278 is the last known good number I have for parts, and they are expensive so be prepared for it if they still have them for sale, good luck, Larry E
