Mitsubishi WS-65613 Can't Post

I have a Mitsubishi WS-65613. I replaced the caps in the DM and now I am able to get the TV on, but I am not able to connect any of my devices. When toggle through the on screen menu's I am able to select them, but the TV connect to the DVD player, cable box etc. I found on another site that it was a "volt regulator". This is the part: IC9C25 (Part#270P677030) IC-BAO9FP, it is a 9 volt REgulator. I cannot find this item anywhere, Mitsubishi no longer sells the part. I am wondering if I can use any 9V Regulator or something similar as a replacement. TY

Unsolder the two leads and lift them up with low wattage iron then use a higher power iron for the tab.

Thank you. I am just wondering if I can use any 9V Regulator? I found these links and wonder if these parts will do also, thank you for all your help:

https://www.encompassparts.com/item/7062835/Mitsubishi/270P677030/Ic-ba09fp
::this part is about $27 with shipping

::this part is about $10 with shipping

I live near this store in Concord,CA called Fry's. Electronics. I am wondering if the part on the link is a match. It will save me time by just driving to the store and picking a part up instead of waiting for shipping. They have other 9V Regulators if you wish you can search their site, Thank You for all your help.

1) 9 volt 1 Amp (electrical ratings)
2) SAME 'pin out' (will it connect the same as original or can it be modified?)
3) mounting considerations (is there sufficient space to mount or can it be modified?)

If 'same for same' I'd go with

If by any chance that the 9 volt regulator is not the problem, can there be other reason for the issue?

Yes.

As always when YOU are playing 'electronic repair technician' using the internet as your source for troubleshooting tips depends directly on how closely the symptom YOU input 'matches' the cure(s) that are being suggested.

Not knowing which site/thread you are referencing ...

Re: [jts1957] Mitsubishi WS-65613 [In reply to] Can't Post

The part arrived 3 days ago and I was able to go to my mother's home to install the regulator with no hitch whatsoever yesterday. I used no clean flux to easily remove the old regulator AND cleaned it anyways with 91% isoalc, I let it sit and dry completely for about 30 minutes than I prepped the "new regulator", and I was done. It works beautifully again. Thank you for all your help.
