rca 56" won't power up

my rca 56"-1995 model ctc178- went out and when i hit the power button, i hear a relay click, then it goes in protection mode and the led flashes 3 times. I checked the HOT transistor and it is bad. What else might i have to replace along with the HOT? If you guys could tell me what other components i should check i would appreciate it!
