Bush DVR3003/ Goodmans 306 Power Supply Problem

Hello. I wonder if someone can help. I have a Goodmans GDVD306 with a blown up power supply. It should be easy to fix but the top of the control chip has blown off and I have no idea of the IC number. Its component number is IC304 and is in a 8 pin DIL package. The power supply is model number 12PW14-4 and is probably used in many other models. I have not been able to get a manual. Any help would be much appreciated.
