Hi! I am a newbe here. It's nice when you find people that want to help.

So, I have an hybrid funai, vcr/dvd-player and I noticed that it doesn't play vcds. Is that feature disabled? or it can't just play that type of cds?

It can play mp3s, copied dvds, music cds, why not vcds or svcds? :-(

Any help would be good, thanks.

if you have a dvd recorder ( thru your computer) re-record those pre-recorded VCD's into another format: DVD format.

Since your dvd player ((cheap! Wink

) is able to play re-corded DVD's.
