I have a dead Tevion DVD/HDD Recorder, can the 160GB HDisk from the Tevion set be accessable and readable if installed in another brand DVD/HDD Recorder?

I don't think why not! if that brand share same pins fitting to the player. My question is. how can you be sure if it is, this hard disk from tevion itself was the main source of failure?

The Tevion Set has a dead power supply,
I'm sure the hard disk is okay,
My question is .. will the contents of the hard disk "stored Movies etc..." play in a different brand DVD recorder?
