Toshiba tv/dvd combo 15dlv76 stopped playing dvds.says reading reading ,hear it spinning then i get an X,?i tryed disc from netflix,blockbuster,amazon.com same thing all discs.

It's probably just a dirty laser. Try taking off the lid and gently cleaning the laser with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol; clean it 2 or 3 times waiting 2 to 3 mins between each cleaning then wait 15 mins for alcohol to completely dry then try a disc.

If the laser's lens gets dirty/dusty it can't read the disc, its just like your glasses getting dirty or dusty, you wouldn't be able to read anything either.

Do not look into the laser when unit is plugged in or it will cause damage to you vision. -- Dan
