I have a panasonic DVD dmr-e65p recorder and will like to set it to remote code 1"its factory setting". i get it to set to factory defaults by pressing (With power ON) press and hold both channel UP/DOWN buttons till the display says 'BYE' Unplug AC cord for 10 sec. with the setup screen when it first out of the box. but it is still on remote 2. The system came on remote code 1. I mest with it change the remote to code 2 and cant get back in the setup to change it back, I am getting (CKH REMOTE2). right now it is set to remote code 2 and it came on code 1. i am uasing a replacement remote. order the right remote, it will take a month or two to get here. In the mean time i need to use the dvd.
