out of control dvd player Can't Post
hi
am working on a sumsung dvd theater player(HT-P38) and it seem to be functioning on its own
when i put off it comes back on ,the volume goes up by it self and the buttons on the player does not respond to what it should do
any ideas?

Consult your "sumsung" owner's manual. It could have a "macro" function to do just what you report.

i check the manual aready but no help,i did a reset still no change
could it be the system control ic? or eprom? i dont no if it has one

If volume switch is corroded or stuck, other switches many not work. If keyboard unplugs, try that immediately after turning unit on and see if behavior is any different.

CN22 10-Pin connector on Front board.

What trouble are you having?
Click on Elektrotanya logo (upper left) will bring you to search page - put in correctly spelled brand and model.
If language = try Google translate or other translator
tanya does have a "change to English" button - upper left box at bottom, if memory serves.
You have to have a decompresser (WINRAR).
