1st gen Walmart Magnavox SDTV boxes no good

I bought 2 of the Magnavox SDTV boxes in Nov. Some of the channels would blink in and out.
I called the 1-800 number on the box and they said it was an antenna problem.
I put up a 20 foot antenna and still had the problem on some channels.
My neighbor bought one last month. He got all his channels with rabbit ears.
I tried his box at my house and it gets all the channels with rabbit ears.
The boxes look the same on the outside.
I took them apart and looked on the inside.
Total different animal on the inside. They updated it and now it works way better.
I called the FCC and asked them about it and they said they were aware of the problem
If you have one of the first gen. Walmart Magnavox SDTV boxes and have problems it may not be your antenna. You may have a bad box.
