coaxial upgrade?	Can't Post

My house was built in 1986 and I was told by Comcast that I needed to have my coaxial cable upgraded in order to receive their digital signal. I never received a clear answer as to why I need to upgrade. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the clarification. LOL In all seriousness I did not realize that there had been a significant upgrade of coaxial to make a difference.
