Broadcast Full HDTV in AU - Changhong L42M150DV

Hi,
I have a Changhong L42M150DV, but on no free to air channel in Australia is it stating that the broadcaster is broadcasting in FullHD (1920×1080P), the highest I am getting is 1440 x 1080, and many other lower resolutions.
Are these the actual resolutions that are being broadcast, or is this something to do with the unit?
