DVI alert Can't Post

Alright here is the issue...
We recently purchased an HMDI switch with 4 inputs and 2 outputs because we want to be able to watch tv in the kitchen (we are aware that we can only watch one at a time)...We have an HDMI cable running from our HD Cablevision box to the switch and from there to both tvs - the sony bravia in our living room and the Vizio in our kitchen. But for some reason we cannot watch tv in the kitchen - sometimes it shows us the following message "DVI alert - your hdtv does not support HDCP - please disconnect the HDMI connector and use the Yprpb connection to continue watching tv" - sometimes it does show the picture but it does not give us sound...
The weird thing is that when we connect the cable to the tv in my room, a samsung, everything is ok and we never get the error message...Can somebody help us out?
