HDCP, Sony and blu-ray Can't Post

I am looking at a Sears clearance of the Sony 720P KDL-37L4000. It doesn't appear to have HDCP support and I am concerned that when I eventually upgrade to blu-ray that the quality will suffer.
Has anyone gone this route?

Hdcp pertains to some Industrial displays, Not all monitors are HDCP. Consumer displays or tv's are automatically hdcp able. Once a digital tuner built-in to a flatscreen, You don't necessarily look for HDCP feature.
